Helicopter crashes near Kettle Falls, causes brush fire
STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — A helicopter crash 27 miles northwest of Kettle Falls injured the pilot and sparked a 60-acre brush fire.
The helicopter went down near Pierre Lake. Officials say the helicopter was being used for logging in the area.
A female pilot was rescued from the crash and is in stable condition.
