Heat leads 2-1, Celtics look to bounce back in Game 4 of ECF
BOSTON. — Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals tips off on Monday between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics on ABC at 5:30 p.m.
The Heat took a 2-1 series lead Saturday night after defeating the Celtics 109-103 in the TD Garden. The Heat got out to a large cushion, leading by over 20 points at one point in the game. Center Bam Adebayo led the way for the Heat in Game 3, dropping 31 points and 10 rebounds in the six point victory. Forward P.J. Tucker and guard Max Strus added 17 points and 16 points respectively.
For the Celtics, Jaylen Brown showed up and showed out, scoring 40 points on 14-20 shooting from the field. Center Al Horford dropped 20 points of his own, but after being down by a lot and cutting the deficit, it was not enough to propel the Celtics to victory, as the Heat were able to close it out and get a win on the road.
