Hatch Road Bridge to reopen next week

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Hatch Road Bridge will reopen to traffic next week.

The bridge was originally scheduled to open on Thursday. After a final inspection, it was determined that there was a section that needs more attention before the bridge reopens.

The bridge, which is the only road that connects the far south side of Spokane to Highway 195, has been closed since March. It was set to remain closed through the end of July, but will now reopen nearly three weeks ahead of schedule.

Crews have been fully replacing the bridge deck.

The City will let people know when the bridge is open again.
