#happylife: What to buy and not buy during the month of March
SPOKANE, Wash. — Who doesn’t love saving money? Promocodes.com is helping us find you the best deals this month.
If you’re looking to update your home and garden, you’re in luck because those are first on the list of things to buy this month. A lot of stores discount these items just before the spring and summer seasons. Lowe’s and Home Depot are dropping their prices on patio furniture, grills, deck supplies and fencing equipment.
Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day? Save some of your own green before you buy your new green. Retailers will be discounting costumes, green decor and anything St. Patrick’s Day related. If you want to get a head start on next year, buy your green after the holiday for the biggest savings.
Since March 20 is the first day of spring, retailers will be looking to clear out their winter clothes and make room for new spring fashions. Shoppers can score savings up to 9% off winter styles from stores like Kohl’s, Macy’s and Overstock.com.
But if you’re looking to purchase a new flat-screen, they’re saying wait until summer’s Black Friday in July. Amazon will also be hosting their ‘Prime Day’ which will feature plenty of deals to choose from.
Transitioning to your spring clothes can be costly. Wait until Easter to purchase warmer weather clothes. Most stores will discount Easter and spring clothes as much as 40 percent.
And of course checking the sale section online or in-store of your go-to shops can always help you save a little extra money.
