#happylife: Enjoy a day at the ballpark with the Spokane Indians

Baseball season for the Spokane Indians is off to a different start. For the first time in a decade, they haven’t started the season at home. For first few games, they’ve been on the road.

On Friday, the team comes home! And they are going all out to celebrate what promises to be an exciting and fun season.

For the opening week, which kicks off Friday, June 21, there will be a fireworks show. If you miss that show, you’ll have a second opportunity on Saturday night, June 22. Be prepared to see lots of princesses though, it’s Storybook Princess Night.

During the week, there will be Bark in the Park night, where you can bring your dog along to enjoy the ballgame, 90s night and Taco Tuesday!

Each game has a different theme and with close to 40 home games this season, a lot of the fun is still to come post-week one! Click here to get the dates for Harry Potter, Christmas in July, Raining Money, Family Feast and Star Wars nights!

At the stadium, you may notice some changes. Concession stands have changed up their menu to include items like Philly Cheesesteaks, açaí bowls and salmon burgers.

When you go to throw out your trash, you’ll see three separate bins and pictures of what to put in each directly above. From the forks to the plates, the Spokane Indians are aiming to be as sustainable as possible by 2022 and are making some big changes to reach that goal this season when it comes to composting waste.

Tickets for kids 12 and under at each game are $5. Adult tickets are $6 and parking is always free.
