‘Hamilton’ star Leslie Odom, Jr. to perform with Spokane Symphony for Whitworth fall concert
SPOKANE, Wash. — Singer, actor and “Hamilton” star Leslie Odom, Jr. will perform with the Spokane Symphony for Whitworth’s fall President Leadership Forum Concert.
Odom won a Tony Award for his performance as Aaron Burr in the acclaimed Broadway musical and recently earned two Academy Award nominations for the movie “One Night in Miami.”
“We are thrilled to be welcoming Leslie Odom, Jr. to Whitworth and to perform with the Spokane Symphony,” said Whitworth Interim President-Elect Scott McQuilkin. “His talents are immense, as a Tony Award winner for ‘Hamilton,’ a Grammy Award winner, and most recently an Academy Award nominee. I believe this event will be a special opportunity for our community.”
The concert is set for Friday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. It will be held at the Fox Theater and tickets can be purchased through the theater’s website.
