Habitat for Humanity kicks off annual Women Build Week in Deer Park
DEER PARK, Wash. – — Habitat for Humanity is hosting it’s 11th year of National Women Build Week.
The initiative, that’s a partnership with Lowe’s has brought together over 100,000 volunteers who’ve helped to build or repair nearly five-thousand homes nationwide.
Through Saturday some 160 all women, volunteer construction teams are going to be framing and potentially siding two new homes in the Hope Meadows community in Deer Park.
Forty-six Habitat for Humanity families already live in the area, in June six more will move in during the organization’s Build Blitz.
