GU women excited to take off for Rhode Island
The Gonzaga women are counting down the practices until they leave for Rhode Island to play in the Sweet 16 on Sunday.
The Bulldogs will hit the court at the McCarthey Athletic Center one last time early Friday morning before departing for the airport at 9:30 am. Buses will leave from right outside the facility if fans want to be there for the sendoff.
Gonzaga will play it’s first tournament game outside of the state of Washington in two years when they face the second seed Kentucky in Kingston, Rhode Island. Tip-off is set for 3:30 pacific time. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
