SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University is opening its doors to the Spokane community on Saturday in honor of Gonzaga Day, the university’s annual day of giving.

This year marks the 8th annual Gonzaga Day, an event that celebrates what it means to be a Zag for life and supporting current and future Zags.

Celebrations take place across the country, with events ranging from game watches to service projects to donation drives.

The GU Alumni Association invites all to a free men’s basketball watch party in the Hemmingson Ballroom as the Zags take on the Cougars of BYU.

Located on the third floor of the Hemmingson Center, the event will include prizes and refreshments all while the game is streamed on multiple big screens.

Doors are at 6 p.m, and the tip off is at 7 p.m.
