Groundhog Day 2017: Punxsutawney Phil predicts 6 more weeks of winter

Punxsutawney Phil, the infamous Pennsylvania groundhog known for his weather predictions, woke up Thursday morning and saw his shadow, indicated there will be six more weeks of winter.

The prediction was made in front of a large, early-morning crowd in Punxsutawney, Pa., where an annual festival is held each year.

Meanwhile, New York City’s Staten Island Chuck did not see his shadow, indicating there will be an early spring.
