A Grand Coulee man and woman were arrested Friday morning after a search warrant served on a home resulted in a bust of methamphetamine and heroin.

The Grant County Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET), the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team (TRT), and Grand Coulee Police raided the home in the 200 block of Dill Avenue Friday. Officials found meth, heroin, scales, and packaging materials inside the home.

36-year-old Michael Capshaw was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to deliver. 38-year-old Angelette Obendorf was at the home and jailed on an unrelated outstanding warrant.

The investigation spanned four months and was prompted by complaints from a citizen about suspicious activity at the home. During the investigation, INET made several controlled drug buys, which gave investigators probable cause they needed to get a search warrant.

“We rely on the partnerships with citizens so we can focus on possible criminal activity, and through those partnerships, we help make our communities safer,” said Sheriff Tom Jones.

More arrests are expected.
