Gonzaga’s Andrew Nembhard declares for the draft

SPOKANE, Wash. — Another Zag is entering the NBA draft.

Andrew Nembhard announced his decision in a tweet Thursday morning.

“Coming to Gonzaga was truly one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I am so grateful for this place. I am thankful and blessed to be a part of teams with so much success and accomplishments but nothing compares to all the relationships I have made over these last two years that will last me a lifetime,” he said.

Nembhard, who has one year of eligibility left, did not say whether or not he will maintain his option to return to Gonzaga.

Drew Timme and Julian Strawther previously announced they were entering the draft and Chet Holmgren is expected to make the same announcement soon.
