Gonzaga to play Kentucky in Spokane later in the fall

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga men’s basketball team will face one of the most historic college basketball programs ever.

Announced during a telethon hosted by Kentucky Head Coach John Calipari for flood victims in the area, GU Head Coach Mark Few said that his team will be facing the Kentucky Wildcats on November 20 in The Kennel.

The two teams will also play against each other in Kentucky at the Rupp Center.

With this November 20 matchup, the Zags could face Michigan State, Kentucky, Duke and Baylor in the span of three weeks.

Last year, the Zags welcomed No. 5 Texas Longhorns to The Kennel. The Zags also hosted North Carolina in 2019.
