Gonzaga senior Mac Graff walks for the first time since injury on senior night, Mark Few’s teary-eyed reaction
SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga’s senior night was full of emotion. Rui Hachimura showed up as a surprise, they were playing their rival Saint Mary’s, but the most powerful was Mac Graff, a senior manager, walking for the first time since he was paralyzed from the waist down after a hunting injury.
He has been confined to a wheelchair for so long, but he worked for two years in physical therapy to have the opportunity to walk out of the tunnel on his senior night, and the Kennel went crazy.
