Gonzaga returns to No. 2 as they head to the WCC Tournament

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Zags have returned to No. 2 in this week’s AP Top 25 poll.

Kansas was the unanimous No. 1 and Dayton moved up to No. 3. Baylor and San Diego State round out the top five.

The Bulldogs clinched the West Coast Conference regular season title with their win over San Diego on Thursday, then continued their streak against Saint Mary’s on Saturday.

Filip Petrusev scored 27 points and Gonzaga beat the Gaels 86-76 to finish the regular season with a sweep of its arch-rival.

Corey Kispert added 20 points and Killian Tillie 13 for Gonzaga.

The Zags now have a short break before heading to the WCC Tournament in Vegas later this week.
