Gonzaga men picked to finish first in WCC, only land one player on all-conference team
LAS VEGAS — The Gonzaga Bulldogs received four more first-place votes than any other West Coast Conference team in the annual WCC men’s preseason poll released Thursday.
Following the Zags are the typical customers, Saint Mary’s (three first-place votes) and BYU, who is coming into the season led by new head coach Mark Pope.
What may be most unusual for the Bulldogs is only having one player, Killian Tillie make the preseason All-conference team. It’s the first time Gonzaga has only one player on that list since the 2008-09 season.
