SAN MATEO, Calif. — The West Coast Conference (WCC) announced its conference matchups for the 2022-23 season.

This will be the fifth year the league will play a 16-game schedule since the change was made in 2018-19 season.

The schedule change was made to advance the WCC onto the national stage. Last season, three teams from the WCC competed in the NCAA Tournament, tied for the most in conference history since 2012. One of those teams was Gonzaga University. They were eliminated by Arkansas in the Sweet 16 round in San Francisco last March.

The matchups are based on a Conference formula that includes the team’s NET ranking from recent seasons, last year’s WCC tournament seedings and a survey from the 10 head coaches in the league.

The Zags will host USD and will go on the road to play Pacific. They will play the remaining teams in the conference both at home and on the road.

Dates and times for the games will be announced at a later date.
