Gonzaga announces brand-new science and engineering building
SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga University’s Board of Trustees approved construction of a brand new Integrated Science and Engineering building in July.
The facility is slated to open in time for the 2021 Fall Semester.
According to a press release, the new facility is designed around a new vision for science, engineering, computer science, mathematics and neuroscience.
The building will be over 82,000 square feet, and will join the fleet of other STEM-focused facilities around Gonzaga’s campus, such as the PACCAR Center, Hughes Hall and the Herak Center.
Gonzaga President Thayne McCulloh describes it as a “hub for learning about, and engaging in, concepts relating to innovation, creativity, and real-world problem solving for undergraduates from across the University.”
