Get ready for ski season with the 54 annual Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol Ski Swap this weekend
SPOKANE, Wash. —
The start of ski season is still a few weeks away, but if you’re itching to get up on the mountain, this weekend might just be the time to get prepared at the annual Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol Ski Swap!
The Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol Ski Swap is the largest of it’s kind in the region. The halls of the Spokane County Fairgrounds are filled with over 25,000 items from local sporting shops and the community. Both new and gently used items at discounted prices. Everything to get you ready, head to toe, for a season on the slopes! Gloves to helmets, ski boots to coats.
On Friday, you can visit the Fairgrounds from 3pm to 8pm to sell your items. On Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 9am to noon, it’s time to shop! Members of the ski patrol say get there early for the best selection. If you choose to wait till Sunday, some items are discounted an extra 25%.
The Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol is one of the largest volunteer groups of its kind in the country. The Ski Swap proceeds provide funding for the organization for the entire year.
