Freeman shooter’s hearing moved
SPOKANE, Wash. — Freeman High School shooter Caleb Sharpe’s hearing that will decide if he will be tried as an adult has been moved from April 2 to May 21 of this year.
Sharpe appeared before Judge Michael Price Tuesday morning to move the date of his declination hearing to Mary 21. The Judge approved the change of date, but also kept the April 2 date to discuss matters related to procedures and any motions needed for the declination hearing itself.
Sharpe shot four classmates at Freeman High School last fall. He was booked into Spokane County Juvenile Detention Center for one count 1st Degree Murder and three counts Attempted 1st Degree Murder.
