Freeman purse thieves plead not guilty to all charges

Three suspects accused of victimizing a Freeman High School parent by stealing her purse in the chaos following the shooting pled not guilty to the charges against them in court Tuesday.

Although each admitted to their role in the crime to detectives upon their arrest, they each pled not guilty to all charges against them.

The three have been in jail since their arrest last month.

Larry Flett was the first to appear Tuesday morning, pleading not guilty to eight counts of second degree theft.

Nicole Jenson appeared next, pleading not guilty to eight charges of second degree theft, two counts of second degree ID theft, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. Police found cocaine in her purse when she was arrested.

Renee Mann pled not guilty to eight counts of first degree theft, and one count second degree ID theft.

Their trials are scheduled for November 27 at 9:30 a.m.
