Free winter driving classes offered by Coeur d’Alene Police Department

Ahead of the snow and ice, Coeur d’Alene Police Department has teamed up with Les Schwab Tires to teach classes on winter driving safety.

Officers from the Coeur d’Alene Police Department traffic unit will be teaching the course, along with local experts from Les Schwab Tires. Topics will include what to do when there is snow or ice on the roads, how to avoid a crash and what to do should you get in to an accident. Also covered, how to put snow chains on your tires and the benefits of having things like studded tires or winter tires.

The class is free and open to anyone who has never driven in winter conditions before or simply want a refresher.

Saturday, November 10 at 3pm

Wednesday, November 14 at 6pm

Thursday, November 15 at 6pm

Saturday, November 17 at 3pm

Monday, November 19 at 6pm

Saturday, December 1 at 9am
