Former Cougars hopeful as the NFL draft is finally here
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Washington State Cougars have a handful of former players ready to take the next step in their football careers, some of them will realize that dream this weekend in the NFL Draft.
Right Tackle Abe Lucas is the only one of the players that is a lock to be drafted, he should go somewhere late in the first or in the 2nd round.
But many more including Jaylen Watson and Max Borghi are hoping to get an opportunity to earn a roster spot.
The draft begins Thursday night and can be watched on KXLY ABC 4.
