Flood watch issued in northeast Oregon through Monday

PENDLETON, Oreg. — The National Weather Service issued a flood watch throughout the northeast Oregon area that is scheduled to last until Monday morning.
Areas under watch include John Day Basin and the Ochoco-John Day Highlands, Foothills of the Blue Mountains of Oregon, and Wallowa County.
Beginning Monday morning, rainfall is expected to last in those areas, with the possibility of localized flooding, the alert said.
