The National Weather Service initially issued the advisory, amid heavy rain and thunderstorms traveling through the region.

The advisory will be in effect until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, and is impacting Southwestern Latah County, Northwestern Nez Perce County, and Southeastern Whitman County.

According to the NWS, areas along Highway 195 near Pullman, Colfax, Albion, Colton and Uniontown should expect flooding.
