Fleet Feet to open doors in Kendall Yards Thursday
SPOKANE, Wash. — Fleet feet has had their eyes on Kendall Yards since they first opened for business five years ago. Thursday, they’ll open their doors in the up and coming development after months of preparations.
Owner Wade Pannell says the location will give them better access to the trails system and a chance to create a greater community around the store. One way they are doing that is by sharing the space under their roof. Part of the store will house Indaba Coffee.
Pannell said, “when we started looking at this location, it was a little bit more square footage than we actually had wanted so we thought, ‘what could we do with it?’ And coffee and running – before and after, it’s something we all enjoy.”
The store is twice the size as their former location and features a second-story lounge where you can enjoy your coffee or relax after a run.
A grand opening party is scheduled for February.
