Flatstick Pub set to open in Spokane’s M Building
SPOKANE, Wash. — Flatstick Pub announced Thursday it will open its first Spokane location in the summer or fall of 2019.
It will be located on the ground level of River Park Square’s newly renovated “M” Building, which previously housed Macy’s department store.
The Flatstick Pub concept was developed by Spokane natives and brothers, Sam and Andy Largent. It was inspired by the idea to create a casual beer pub that featured a unique and challenging 9-hole miniature golf course.
In addition to mini golf, patrons will find original golf-themed games invented by Flatstick. Two brand new Flatstick designed games are set to debut in the Spokane location.
“We have been looking to open a Spokane Flatstick for a few years and couldn’t be happier with this space right in the heart of downtown,” said CEO and owner Sam Largent. “We’re so excited to bring the Flatstick experience to our hometown, where we still have lots of friends and family.”
The pub will feature around 30 taps, pouring only independent, locally made beer, cider and wine. Flatstick Pub will partner with acclaimed Seattle restaurateur Ethan Stowell to develop a food menu.
The Spokane location plans to be open to minors until 7 pm daily. It will also be dog friendly.
Owners Sam and Andy Largent opened their first Flatstick Pub location in Kirkland in 2014. They’ve since opened two more locations in the Pioneer Square and South Lake Union areas of Seattle. A Tacoma location is also expected to open in 2019.
