Fire south of Moses Lake destroys two structures and RVs
GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — An overnight fire has destroyed two structures and RVs in Marine View Heights, about 12 miles south of Moses Lake.
Fire units were called just before 1 a.m. Thursday to the Sportsman’s Resort at 6897 State Route 262 East.
Arriving units found a fast-moving fire which eventually consumed the resort’s pool building, two travel trailers, a boat, and a park model manufactured home.
Firefighters were periodically hampered by the venting and explosions of several propane tanks attached to the structures and RVs. There were no injuries.
The Grant County Fire Marshal is investigating.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
