Fire closes Moses Lake pizza parlor for “foreseeable future”
Moses Lake, Wash — Fans of Moses Lake’s most legendary pizza will have to find somewhere else to satisfy their cravings, after an oven fire spread through Chico’s Pizza Parlor Saturday night.
Firefighters saw flames shooting from the building as soon as they arrived on the scene.
More than an hour after the fire started, Chico’s posted this message on the restaurant’s Facebook page: “There was was a fire that occurred inside the oven. Fortunately our manager was able to get everyone out to safety. We just had our hoods and fire extinguishers were just checked. I expect the damage will keep us closed for the foreseeable future. We will be open as soon as repairs are finished.”
Investigators have not released any information about a suspected cause.
Chico’s has served customers from it’s W. Valley Road location for decades.
