Finding the Helpers: White Dog Coffee owners giving all profits made Friday to employees
SPOKANE, Wash. — The owners of Spokane’s White Dog Coffee want to thank their employees for the hard and long hours they have spent slinging coffee over the past few weeks.
Drive-thru coffee stands have been able to stay open during the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order and stopping for coffee has been an outlet for many looking to get out of the house.
As a way to say thank you to their employees, the owners, Corey and Tori Schrock, will be giving all profits earned Friday, May 8 right back to their baristas.
“We (Corey and Tori) have been wanting to say thank you to our girls in a big way. After brainstorming ideas, we have come to the decision to take ALL PROFITS from our three shops, put it in one pot and DIVIDE it between EACH BARISTA,” they said in a Facebook post.
The Schrocks said they have been brainstorming ways to say thank you to their employees and wanted to do so in a big way.
“We want this to be our busiest day, we will be extra staffed to still serve you in a timely manner, so blow this up as much as you can for us, our girls deserve it,” they said.
White Dog Coffee has three locations; in North Spokane, the South Hill and Spokane Valley.
