Find your shorts and sandals! We’re heading into the 80s this week! – Kris
Get ready for the warmest weather of the season later this week! The warm-up starts on Wednesday. Expect mostly sunny skies with high temperatures in the lower 70s. We will have an increase in clouds in the afternoon, but no sign of precipitation tomorrow.
Our temperatures will jump 10 more degrees into the lower 80s on Thursday. That’s the warmest weather we’ve seen since early October. The summery weather will not be sticking around, however. A cold front late Thursday evening will bright a chance of showers overnight, and much cooler and breezy conditions for Friday. There’s a renewed chance of showers Friday afternoon over the higher terrain, including a chance of isolated thunderstorms. The cooler weather will continue through the weekend. Right now, there’s a slight chance of showers on Mother’s Day, but still no sign of the wetting rains we desperately need.
