Working 4 You: Keeping Christmas trees happy and healthy

SPOKANE, Wash. - If you've been putting off getting a Christmas tree, there is still time and there are plenty of options.

Dietz Christmas Tree Farm has several species still available and doesn't plan on running out anytime soon. Owner Jim Dietz says this weekend will be a busy one, with plenty of families heading up to Green Bluff. He says the farm has been in his family for decades and it's pretty special being part of other family's traditions.

"30 years ago, when we first opened, we had families show up with their little kids. 30 years later, those same families have been coming back here every year to get their Christmas tree," said Jim Dietz.

Dietz Christmas Tree Farm even sells tree stands and water buckets. The most important thing you can do to keep your tree happy and healthy through Christmas is to keep it watered. You can visit Dietz Christmas Tree Farm any day of the week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
