If you have a heart for young people, and for animals, this week's Wednesday's Child could be a match made in heaven.
Maria is an animal lover.
"I just have a connection with animals that I don't usually have with people," said Maria.
Maria would love to some day work with, or at least meet, a beluga whale, a tiger and an elephant.
"I want to go to college, veterinary school," said Maria.
Her chances of success will be far greater is she has the love and support of a family.
"I just wanna have a family that's understanding," said Maria.
And as strange as it might sound, Maria says she'd like her parents to give her boundaries.
"They care enough to know where I am at all times, but don't make me stay home all day," said Maria.
It would be very helpful if those parents had some experience or have resources to help Maria work through some tough times. But, among the past and the pain also come comes a lot of joy and laughter.
Maria want a a family with a good sense of humor, who also loves the outdoors, hiking, exploring and fishing. Maria is also interested in singing, and would like to try voice lessons or theater. And, she'd really like to be involved in the community.
"I just want to be able to engage in a lot of opportunities," said Maria.
And that's exactly what this bright young woman should have. If you can give that to her contact Northwest Adoption Exchange at 1(800) 927-9411.
