(Updated 8:43 p.m.) – A cash reward is now being offered by the family of a missing Moses Lake man in hopes someone knows where he is. Dan Toya, 64, was taking his young golden retriever, Molly, to the veterinarian when he possibly stopped near Samson’s Beach along Potholes Reservoir. That’s where his unoccupied pickup truck was found.

According to Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the funds are still being collected so the reward amount is yet to be determined.

Sheriff Tom Jones says there have been no signs of foul play and they’re keeping the case open and assigned to a major crimes detective.

When Toya disappeared, the family says he was in good health and spirits. He’s described as Asian, 5’9″ in height and weighs 180 lbs. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

If anyone has information that could help the case, please contact Detective Kim Cook. He can be reached by calling (509) 754-2011 ext. 468 or by emailing information to crimetips@co.grant.wa.us. Tips can remain anonymous.
