Families having fun at new North Bank and playground

Ice Age Floods Playground 7

SPOKANE, Wash. — It’s a beautiful day to get outside with your family. If you’re looking for something new to explore, check out the new Ice Age Floods playground at Riverfront Park.

It’s been a steady stream of families coming in and out of this playground. Kids are swinging, going down slides and overall, just having a great time.

The North Bank has a lot more than that. There’s a skate park, splash pad, full-length basketball courts, a climbing wall and so much more.

The park opened at noon, after almost 10 years in the making and kids flooded in.

I assumed they were going to like it, but I didn’t know just how much.

As one kid described it, “It’s really, really, really, really, really, really fun.”

While you’re here, you may notice some tents. That’s because MultiCare has a pop-up vaccination clinic here until 7 p.m.

If you get vaccinated, you have of a chance to win a pair of Pavilion concert tickets.

So if you’re looking for a vaccine, and a place to have fun, head over to the North Bank.
