Extreme Team Day 3: One more day until the Carl Maxey Library reveal!

SPOKANE, Wash. — After another hectic day of work, Mark Peterson and the 4 News Now Extreme Team are almost done completing the new library for the Carl Maxey Center.

The team began on Monday, laying concrete and installing plumbing and electrical wiring. On Tuesday, crews and volunteers painted walls, installed floors and placed countertops.

Wednesday was more of the same with lots of painting and electrical work, finishing up the final touches before Thursday’s grand reveal!

This project is being built in honor of Sandy Williams, the Carl Maxey Center’s former executive director, who was tragically killed in a seaplane crash in September.

On Thursday, 4 News Now will give you an inside look of the new library! Stay tuned to see the final product!
