Extradition warrant issued for suspect in Colville armed robbery
COLVILLE, Wash. — On Thursday, the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office put out a press release on their Facebook page about the armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday night.
According to the post, the Colville Police Department has developed probable cause that 23-year-old Johnathan J. Johnston committed an armed robbery of the Chevron gas station in Colville on the night of May 7.
A nationwide extradition warrant has been issued for his arrest.
“Johnston held the Chevron employee at gunpoint during the robbery. He should be considered armed and extremely dangerous,” the post says.
