Extra patrols to look for impaired drivers around upcoming holiday
MOSCOW, Idaho — The Moscow Police Department will conduct a Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over mobilization from June 29 to July 8.
There will be extra patrols on the roads during this time, looking for impaired drivers.
The Moscow Police Department and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are urging drivers to designate a sober driver before heading out for the evening on July 4.
They urge people to “remember that it is never okay to drink and drive. Even if you’ve had only one alcoholic beverage, designate a sober driver or plan to use public transportation or a ride sharing service to get home safely.”
