SPOKANE, Wash. — The ridge of high pressure that’s brought so much sunshine to the region over the past few days is breaking down as a storm system approaches.
Expect an increase in clouds tomorrow and a chance of showers and scattered thunderstorms in extreme Northeastern Washington and North Idaho. High temperatures will remain about average, topping out in the mid 70s.
For Bloomsday Sunday, expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the 70s. Conditions should remain dry for the race, with showers and thunderstorms by the late afternoon and evening. Temperatures remain above average through Tuesday, with a return to seasonable conditions by the middle of next week.
