SPOKANE, Wash. — High pressure will remain over the region for Friday, bringing warm and dry conditions. Expect a high temperature in the mid 70s with partly sunny skies.
The ridge will begin to break down by the weekend, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly to the mountain areas. There is a slight chance of showers on Bloomsday Sunday in Spokane.
Temperatures will remain above average through at least the beginning of next workweek. There are signs of a cooling trend by the end of next week.
