Evening Forecast for April 17

An area of low pressure is exiting the region, taking the showers and the windy conditions along with it.

Isolated showers will continue Tuesday evening, mainly over the mountain areas. Wind gusts are close to 40 miles per hour, but those winds will die down overnight.

Expect mostly cloudy skies for Wednesday, with temperatures below average.

A drying, warming trend develops for the end of the workweek, with temperatures in the 60s. A fast moving cold front on Saturday will bring a chance of mountain showers for the first part of the weekend. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy skies and seasonably cool temperatures for Saturday and Sunday.
