Evans Brothers to celebrate Spokane location with a grand opening ‘throwdown’
SPOKANE, Wash. — Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters has become a staple place to get your caffeine fix in North Idaho. A decade ago, they started with their first space in Sandpoint and expanded to a downtown Coeur d’Alene cafe in 2017. Late last year they opened their third location in the Wonder Building in Spokane and are now ready to celebrate!
On January 31 they are hosting a Grand Opening Throw Down complete with coffee tastings, DJs, break-dancers and a “latte art throw down.”
Co-owner Rick Evans shared that over the last few years, latte art competitions have become popular in the coffee world. So popular that on Friday, several local baristas will come together compete against each other inside the downtown location. They’ll record and project the entire competition on a wall so everyone can be a part of the excitement.
The event is free to attend and retro winter best attire is encouraged!
Pop-up shops like Bean and Pie will have food available for purchase.
Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters is located at 835 North Post Street in Spokane. Celebrations begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, January 31.
