Enjoy the spring weather with these outdoor activities

Temperatures are expected to stay in the 60s through Friday, which means spring is officially rolling into the Inland Northwest.

One of the best parts of the Inland Norhwest spring is the endless list of opportunites to opt outside and enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Here are a few ways to enjoy the incoming spring weather!

Hit the trails for an early spring hike. Be careful that some trails may not be totally clear from ice and snow. Looking for help picking a trail? Head to the Washington Trails Association.

Wine tasting
Living in the Inland Northwest means we are right in the heart of wine country! Celebrate Washington Wine Month and enjoy a tasting at Arbor Crest or Maryhill.

Spring skiing at local mountains
Hit the slopes and enjoy some sunshine while you are at it! Schweitzer and Mt. Spokane are open until April 7.

Start training for Bloomsday
The snow is starting to melt away and sidewalks are clearing up. That means it is time to hit the pavement and start tracking those practice miles ahead of Bloomsday.

Enjoy dinner al fresco
One of the best parts of spring is enjoying a meal out on the patio. Spokane and Coeur d’Alene are full of restaurants, coffee shops and bars that offer patio seating. Maybe hit Nectar in Kendall Yards or Crafted in Coeur d’Alene.
