Enjoy a mini warming trend before a cool, showery Memorial Day Weekend – Kris

If you’ve been waiting for some warmer, more spring-like weather, the wait is almost over!  However, the quick spike into the 70s is not going to stick around long, and we’ll be back in long pants and hoodies for Memorial Day Weekend.  For Wednesday, enjoy mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 60s.  We will ALMOST hit 70°.  It is still possibility that we will card our first 70°+ day on Wednesday, but more likely, it will arrive on Thursday.

Wednesday Planner    Highs Wednesday

Thursday, highs will climb into the mid 70s!  It’s not going to be a bright, sunny day, but it will be warm.  There is a chance of thunderstorms over the southern Palouse and central Panhandle of Idaho Thursday late afternoon and evening.  More wide-spread showers and possible thunderstorms will arrive Thursday overnight into Friday.  Alas, temperatures will crash into the 60s and even the 50s over the three-day weekend.  Right now, it looks like the best chance of showers will be on Sunday.
