Enjoy a cool, clear Friday night before the next warming trend kicks off Saturday – Kris

It is a beautiful Friday evening, and if you like things a little bit cooler, you’re in luck. Temperatures will drop quickly tonight. You might even need a sweater if you’re heading out for a late dinner al fresco.  By Saturday morning, temperatures will be in the lower 50s.

Lows Tonight    4 Things To Know

We are running out of summer weekends for trips to the lake, afternoons at the pool and visits to the water park! I’m happy to report that we will be warm and sunny on Saturday and Sunday. However, I’m keeping an eye on smoke from area wildfires which could make for less-than-ideal conditions.  Right now, it looks like you can expect a light haze on the horizon Saturday from wildfires burning in British Columbia and Montana.  The Air Quality Index should remain in the “Good” or “Moderate” range.  Otherwise, expect sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid-80s Saturday and lower 90s on Sunday.  The heat really kicks in next work week.  Highs could, once again, reach the triple digits by Tuesday.
