Emergency teams continue to respond to flooding throughout Okanogan County

The Okanogan County Department of Emergency Management is continuing to assist throughout Okanogan County is response to flooding.

The Northeast Washington Interagency Incident Management Team is also responding.

Residents in immediate proximity to the Okanogan, Similkameen, and Methow rivers and other nearby smaller rivers and creeks should remain alert for the next few days, as water levels are expected to rise to near record levels by the end of the week.

There are no current evacuation orders in place. The Red Cross is assisting affected residents based on need.

You are asked to stay off the Okanogan River.
