The Los Angeles Times reports an 84-year-old woman from Northern California was arrested after she allegedly shot at neighbor children for being too “noisy.”

Betty Frances Sanders approached her neighbors Friday, citing excessive noise coming from their three young children. According to the report, Sanders and her husband began arguing with the neighbors, and Sanders eventually fired a shot toward the children, who were about 20 feet away.

The Shasta County Sheriff’s office said no one was injured in the incident, and Sanders was arrested on suspicion of assault with a firearm and child endangerment.
