EB I90 near Moses Lake blocked after semi-truck collision and fire, no injuries reported

UPDATE: Officials say the road should be reopened by 4:30 p.m.

This is a developing story. We will post updates as they become available.

Washington State Patrol is reporting a collision and fire that is currently blocking I90 eastbound near Moses Lake at mile post 175. The trailer that crashed was carrying boxes of produce.

No injuries have been reported, and all occupants are out of the vehicle. The fire is contained.

Westbound traffic is reportedly getting by on the westbound shoulder of the road. WSP says they don’t know when the road will be open again. However, due to fuel and oil on the roadway, they say cleanup may take “a while.”
