Eastern’s Larry ruled ineligible

Eagles win 52-51 thriller over Bobcats

The Eastern Washington football team will be without junior defensive end Anthony Larry for the entire 2012 season as he was declared academically ineligible, according to Eastern’s athletic department.

Larry started six games for Beau Baldwin’s team as a sophomore, totaling 40 tackles, 12 of which were for loss. Larry played in 11 games in all in 2011.

The 6-foot-3, 240 pounder from Sacramento could possibly return for his senior season in 2013, if he’s deemed eligible again.
