Driver hits school bus, injures two children
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Two children were injured Friday morning on their way to school.
Spokane Valley Police say the driver of a silver VW Bug ran a stop sign and hit a school bus.
Those children only had minor injuries and were taken home by parents.
The driver who hit the bus took off and left his vehicle.

Deputies found the man they suspect was driving the VW Bug at the hospital Friday morning. He claims he doesn’t remember what happened.
He has not yet been arrested because he is undergoing a health evaluation.
He faces hit and run charges, as well as injury to a child and driving with a suspended license.
